hp dl380 g6 no drives detected

I need to install windows server 2008 enterprise on a new HP Priliant DL380 G6 server. I am facing a problem that the system cannot detect any drives during installation and i am not able to proceed. can someone help me please

boot the server with the smart start cd.
update the latest psp then
create an array.

Windows Question in the Linux forum. But can we be assured our answers will be read any more than the category was read?
1) Use release 2 of windows 2008, it has better disk driver support and may work wih G6 hardware.
2) There is a smart start assist CD that ships with the server and permits installs of some versions of windows.
3) Disk may need alternately to be configured using the built in smart raid utility in the bios. This must be done from the server console.
