Hi,
We have one server with os and applications .We need to take an image of that server and we need to restore the same in different server with os and applications.Please tell me how to do this.

There are some Ghost softwares available which copy the whole image.
But for this the other system should be of some configuration.

Exactly. You can get a program from Norton called Norton Ghost. This will allow you to make a image of one computer and it will allow you to transfer that image to another computer through a direct connection (ie 2 drives in one computer) and by a network. I have used this program many times and have not had any problems with it. Just make sure the computer you copy the new image to has about the same specs as the original computer you made the image from (don't copy a server image to an old pentium 1 system).
