inetd[585]: portmap/tcp: bind: Address already in use
This messages keeps repeating in my /var/adm/tcpwrap.log every 10 minnutes
inetd[585]: portmap/tcp: bind: Address already in use
inetd[585]: portmap/tcp: Service enabled
I have check the /etc/services file for duplication and /etc/inetd.conf file
Help!!!

I came across this thread. Now it's slightly different than your problem. They were trying to make the connection and yours implies one has been made and your unable to make another because it's busy...
For the busy you might try using lsof utility and see what other process is using that port.

You can also use netstat -a | grep xxx
where xxx is the port in question.
