Re: install red-hat es3 x86 on dl360
What's your problem? If you don't know how to install linux drivers before system installation,Check following info:
HP should provide drivers for linux. You should make a smart-array 6i driver disk for linux installation.
When you boot from linux install cd ,type "linux dd" for REDHAT linux or press F6 for SUSE linux to loading smart-array 6i driver from driver disk.

SolutionThey contain the new 6i drivers, as well as the latest ES 3 packages.
FYI the latest version of Redhat Es 4 is also available for download, but l'm not sure if all HP packages install cleanly on it.
l built a new DL380 G4 last weeek and the HPASM driver installed correctly after installling the latest HP SNMP package as well.
The fans are still load, even thought the HPASM interface say the fans are set to low. Are the fans louder on the new DL380's? Seems so to me.
