installation of Sybase 11.9.2.5 Failed

installation of Sybase 11.9.2.5 Failed

I am trying to Install Sybase 11.9.2.5 on HP-UX 11.11. Actually I am installing it to configure HP OVPI 5.0.0.

When I start the installation Configuraing system and Extracting Files is going on smooth. But when It comes to updating database. I get an error saying that unable to start the database. When I check the error.log file it says" : ninit unable to find host HPUNIX"

- HPUNIX is my hostname of where i am installing the sybase.

I have gone through the step by step instruction in the manual. Please help me out to solve the problem.
