installing linux on workstation

hi ,
i'm trying to install linux on a workstation , i tryed debian , but i cant start graphic mode because it dont recognize my FX2 card.
is someone can help me to fix it ? or say me what linux distrib i can use ?
(sry for my english)

Hi,
Try initially with Red Hat.

When you are a more experienced user, you can try with debian.

Check at http://www.xfree86.org/current/Status.html
if your card is supported.
Then, try with a Mandrake or Red Hat
for hardware detection. If they can detect and configure it, check the file /etc/X11/XF86Config (in Mandrake, for instance), because you can need that info for antoher distro that does not detect it.

its a b132 workstation , i know how install linux my problem is i cant start X , my graphic card is a FX2 from HP. and it dont recognize it
