itrc documents
There is an issue I commonly face on the itrc w.r.t links to knowledge base documents
I have a Europe ITRC login.
Most Document links bring up (for me) the page "could not login" suggesting I login to the Asia-Pacific/Americas ITRC.
If I take the Doc ID and search for it, no result appears.
For example the link:
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docId=200000024631441
Now should I search for Doc ID. 200000024631441 or it has something to be appended.
Maybe its the wrong place to post.
Really appreciate any help.
Regards,

Re: itrc documents
I beleave these are old documents, hp is using a new standard for doc id's, or this doc is not available anymore.
Found a few other docs that may help you.

Re: itrc documents
normally the itrc forum ist hosted on america/asia pacific site.
So your account is now on europe site and you have logged in with that account.
If now an itrc member links a document to the america site it will not work for an itrc member from the europe site. Because for the technical knowledge base you need a support contract with hp and you can only link your support contract as a european member at the european itrc site. That's the reason I cut and paste this documents in my answers or attache it.

PS: I think the document IDs in europe and america site are not the same, too.

Re: itrc documents
Just a little addendum: document IDs will be the same for both US and European sites.
Also you'll find that people will not post the actual documents, as they are only available to those with a contract - whereas anyone can access the ITRC forums regardless of their contract.
regards,
Darren.
