kdeinit seems to hang
Took over install of RedHat AS2.1 on ProLiant DL380. Only lingering problem is removing applet from KDE panel, kdeinit seems to hang with CPU@100%
Kernel version 2.4.9-e.3
Ran up2date over the weekend,
so packages should be at latest version.

Found that error did not occur as user other than root. Removed applets without extending panel off the right bottom of screen and applets removed without error.
