kmtune AND/OR kctune

Looks like kctune replaced kmtune from (at least) 11.23 on. I've used kmtune on 11i-v1.

What I'm wondering is if a specific form of the kmtune cmd is applicable to 11.0... is the executable_stack param even applicable to 11.0? Please see below...

kmtune -q executable_stack

Re: kmtune AND/OR kctune

Hi John,

Yes. From 11.23 onwards kmtune is replaced with kctune. On 11.23 still you can use kmtune which will call kctune inturn.

On 11.00, I don't see the parameter executable_stack
Best wishes,

Ganesh.

Re: kmtune AND/OR kctune

11.00 OS doesn't have the executable stack feature. This was introduced with 11i
