Hello,

How can I identify if a filesystem is configured for largefiles?

I know I can create a file largr than 2gb however is there another command that will list this?

Thanks

Re: largefiles

Use the /usr/sbin/fstyp command

fstyp -v /dev/vgXX/lvYY

if the 'f_flag:' value is 16, you have large files. Other wise it is 0 and you do not have large files

Re: largefiles

Simply execute fsadm -F vxfs /mountpoint, it will report "largefiles" or "nolargefiles".
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: largefiles

i think you can also cat /etc/fstab and
get largefiles or not information.
(Ps:you can not get this information even if
you have cluster pkgs and their's filesystem
supported large files or not!!!)
