Re: libc.2 Urgent help requsted

Hi,
you can do the following:
1) boot the HP-UX in single user mode
or
2) boot from Install media with Recovery Mode

and rename the file.

Re: libc.2 Urgent help requsted

Hi
You may want to know this one which I think is the most easiest

/sbin/cat > /usr/lib/libc.2
/sbin/chmod +x /usr/lib/libc.2

Re: libc.2 Urgent help requsted

Sathish-

how about LVM or VXVM boot mode in VM Maint ?
this is where you can use the /sbin/cat command.

is there a link command in /sbin/ln ?
rather than cat >
you can use link or mv command in /sbin.

I might suggest you reboot your system,
then interrupt the boot.

bring up your boot OS in LVM or VXVM Maintenance option for the disk.

then do the cat or mv.

best of luck.
