libmagic9-dev for HP-UX 11.31

Can some one please help where I can get libmagic9-dev for hp-ux11iv3. I am able to find only debian package for this. Can this be installed on HP-UX. If yes how?

its the library used by the "magic number" routines in "file".

"man magic" and "man file" might shed some light.

as for the original poster...you could download source, but what makes you think you need it? file/magic are part of the existing OS. Or perhaps this isn't what you are really searching for?
