hello.
if I use lifls on hp ux in itanium platform, the following will as below. As I know, this kind of system use EFI for booting, EFI have a bootstrap program hpux.efi. so ISL, HPUX here listed by lifls will be useless on itanium. am I right? thanks.
lifls -l /dev/rdisk/disk11_p2
volume ISL10 data size 7984 directory size 8 09/10/13 17:12:26

efi_ls -d /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s1 EFI
FileName Last Modified Size
HPUX/ 4/ 7/2008 0

Re: lif on hp ux itanium platform
Only the EFI Part is different for Itanium compared to Parisc in terms of booting.
But EFI will definitely look for AUTO and HPUX from the LIF volume.
