limit Outlook out-of-office replies to my local domain?

Let's say I work at Acme, and only
want my outlook out-of-office autoreply
to reply to incoming email from *.acme.com

How can I set this up?

BTW, I'm using Outlook 2000 SR-1.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

you will have to create rules within outlook that follow that condition. I have no Outlook2000 to test this first, but in general it works this way:

How to Create a Rule
1. On the Tools menu, click Out of Office Assistant.
2. In the Out of Office Assistant dialog box, click Add Rule.
3. In the When a message arrives that meets the following conditions box, specify the conditions that you want the message to meet.
4. Click to select the Do not process subsequent rules check box to specify that this rule must be the last one applied.
5. To specify more conditions, click Advanced, select the options that you want, and then click OK.
6. In the Perform these actions box, select the options that you want.

That method only works for individuals.
So I'd need to know in advance everyone
who MIGHT send me an email msg, and
make a rule for them.

Ugh.

I'm looking for a way to say
"just send my autoreply to
email which arrives from *.acme.com"

Suggestions?

You should be able to create a rule to apply when messages arrive with specific words in the sender's address. You just define the specific words as "acme.com" and then it asks you what to do if it finds these words. You tell it to Reply using a certain template.
