linux + cpq SP700

I' ve just installed Mandrake 9.2 on a SP 700 Workstation with a matrox G400 graphic card.
The installation and the detection of hardware is correct but when i boot on graphic mode or when i launch 'startx' the screen freeze and j've got no more controll. I've tryed another card (elsa synergy 4+4 cpq) and i have the same problem.

You might want ot look in the XFree86 log which on slackware is /var/log.

Might be worth a look in $HOME/.xsession-errors too.

Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"
