lpalt

an operator should be able to change the priority of a print request.
I have tried lpalt -p but I keep on getting the the message
"Not owner"

i have tried to use chmod ug+s <script-filename> but this doesn't work either.

Re: lpalt

Why dont you let your operator use a restricted sam (sam -r) with full control
on your printers?

Hi Ad,

You should add lp membership to your account if you are not root.

Re: lpalt

sam -r works fine, but I still can't change the priorotiy of a job. The only
option thats is left is to cancel a request.
