Solutionu may like to use sendmail as long as the smtp services from that exchange server is running.
refer to this doc for the configuration:
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-0707/ch02s01.html
modify these files:
# vi /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
-> make changes to Smart relay host (DS) and FQDN (Dj).
# vi /etc/mail/sendmail.cw
-> append accordingly for other names associated with the server (on HP-UX 11.11).
regards.

Re: mail
I receive the following error.
cscpcc@idmp005 [/home/cscpcc]
#sendmail -v paul.castillo@digitel.ph
digitel.ph: Name server timeout
paul.castillo@digitel.ph... Transient parse error -- message queued for future delivery
Here's what I configured.
Dj$w.digitel.ph
DSdgtlmail.digitel.ph
Any ideas,
Thanks,
Paul

Re: mail
I solve my problem, heres what I did.
- I modify Dj and DS
- uncomment the following
# pass to name server to make hostname canonical
# R$* < @ $* $~P > $* $: $1 < @ $[ $2 $3 $] > $4
Thanks Joseph and cem for the link.
Regards,
Paul
