once again good info, our DBA has been in contact with Oracle and is aware of the supported versions.

I would suggest buying a glance plus license. It's really a great utility. Without it it may be difficult to find out how much memory is being used by the UFC.

we've been looking into glance and since you mentioned it that is probably what is needed.
I've used the trial release and it provided alot of good info.
