mib2agt and snmpd consuming CPU resources
About a year ago we had a system where these process would would start to consume CPU resources. The correction that we took at the time was to 'unmannage' the node from NNM-IT/O. Since then we have applied patch PHSS_26138 (HP-UX 11.0 of course), and the group managing IT/O out of the blue decided to 'remanage' this system with NNM-IT/O. Now these processes once again start to consume CPU resources (memory looks fine compared to other systems) and we have to cycle them about once a week.

Re: mib2agt and snmpd consuming CPU resources
Uday,
as noted we've installed PHSS_26138, which supersedes PHSS_23670.

Re: mib2agt and snmpd consuming CPU resources
Well,
Are you sure you need this mib2 process running all the time..??
You can stop it by
/sbin/init.d/SnmpMib2 stop
