migration from L2000 to N4000
Hi,
I have system of below model and ignite version.
9000/800/L2000-44(2 processor-440Mhz)
B5725AA B.4.1.55 HP-UX Installation Utilities (Ignite-UX)
Ignite-UX-11-11 B.4.1.55 HP-UX Installation Utilities for Installing 11.11 Systems
I would like to take this server's image using above ignite version and want to restore it on 9000/800/N4000-75(3 processor-750Mhz).
Will this directly work? or any updates needed on L2000..? Please clarify
Shankar

Re: migration from L2000 to N4000
Shalom,
You should make sure the receiving system is up to date on firmware.
I worked extensively with L class in the US. Not so much with N. I'm told they are similar and this Ignite transfer will work. Probably.
You might do better with a more current version of Ignite.
