multiple files for diff command?

hi all

 

is there a way to do more than 2 files for the diff command?

i see theres a diff3 for 3, but is there one for more in hpux?

I know of no easy way to compare multiple files.

 

It is possible to write something in 'awk' that should fit your requirements. 

 

I got a lot of hits by searching Google with the terms: unix multi file diff

Yes, there is an open source diff3 for HP-UX.

How many files do you want to diff at a time?
