nfs sharing issue

Hi,

I have shared home directory through nfs but it is not showing when i am firing command "showmount". Steps i followed to configure nfs
1. Edit the /etc/exports file
# cat /etc/exports
/home -ro
2.use the exportfs -a command to export the fs.
3.edit the /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf file
NFS_SERVER=1
PCNFS_SERVER=0
START_NFSLOGD=0
START_MOUNTD=1
MOUNTD_OPTIONS=""

4.# /sbin/init.d/nfs.core start
Starting NFS CORE networking

rpcbind already started, using pid: 956
# /sbin/init.d/nfs.server start
Starting NFS SERVER subsystem

Reading in /etc/dfs/dfstab
Starting up the mount daemon
rpc.mountd already started, using pid: 1847
Starting up the NFS server daemon
nfsd already started, using pid: 1853
Starting up nfsmapid daemon

When i am firing to showmount it is not giving any o/p.

# showmount

Pls let me know where i am wrong in configuring nfs server?

Appreciaitng your quick response.

Looks like this is 11.31 & you are doing as per 11iv1 & v2 /etc/exports

Please edit /etc/dfs/dfstab for 11.31
