ninstall ERROR

Hi Admins
I have problem like i am not able to execute the daemon /var/adm/netdist/netdaemon.dy in the client machine Its giving the ERROR as follows
# /var/adm/netdist/netdaemon.dy
ninstall: 10:23:28 ERROR fakir.india.hp.com: there is no server on port 2150

This is because i have changed a users home and mail server, i have updated the change in the DNS also. After making this change in DNS if execute the command its giving the error.

[Note: Client binds in the NIS SERVER]
Is there any soluation.

Thanks in Advance

Re: ninstall ERROR

Check and see if you have ninstall in /etc/inetd.conf and/or /etc/services. If so, then comment this out and run inetd -c.

ninstall, I believe, was an older method of installing software.
