nkthread kernel parater change on 11.11 11.23 & 11.31

Hi Expert

Could you please assist me how to change the kernel paramter nkthread parameter in HP unix 11.11 & 11.23 & 11.31.

Please correct me if i am wrong:

For HP unix 11.11

#kmtune nkthread=<desired parameter>                system will reboot as it is static paramter

For HP unix 11.23 & 31

# kmtune nkthread=<desired paramter>

Re: nkthread kernel parater change on 11.11 11.23 & 11.31

Hi,

For HP-UX11.11, use kmtune to set, view and modify kernel tunable parameters:

To set/modify kernel parameter value.
# kmtune -s nkthread=<value>

To query the parameter:
# kmtune -q nkthread

For detailed info refer the kmtune man page. (kmtune man page - http://nixdoc.net/man-pages/hp-ux/man1/kmtune.1m.html)

For HP-UX 11.23 & 11.31, use "kctune" instead of "kmtune" for managing kernel tunables.

# kctune nkthread=<desired value>

For detailed information, refer the kctune man page from tbe below link:
