Re: oracle

Hi,
i have not them with me, but if you go to

http://www.filemirrors.com

and search for "oracle"

you will find many oracle bibles.

At the free site

http://technet.oracle.com you can download all the official oracle guides, for the current release.

I suggest you to go to technet and download the manuals, guides tends to be useless pretty fast.

There is an introductive paper "Oracle Concepts", begin there.

The utilities for dumping content fom/to file are exp/imp, and are described in the

database_utilities_a90192.pdf

Be sure also to get

a90117_admin_guide.pdf
a90125_sql_reference.pdf

Re: oracle

Hello Dagmar,

I suggest install the On-Line documentation from Oracle's cdroms. I think it's the first step.

Re: oracle

hi Dagmar,

You want to read this CONCEPTS guide from cover to cover (if you do, and you retain 10% of the information contained therein, I would put forth that you would know 90% more then most about Oracle)

http://technet.oracle.com/docs/products/oracle9i/doc_library/901_doc/server.901/a88856/toc.htm

best regards
