parmodify error

I am trying to add cell 3 to partition 0 and received the following error:

parmodify -p 0 -a 3:base:y:ri
Error: There are incompatible cells:
Global cell 3, cabinet 0, cell 3 - IODC version 35024 PDC major 24
Current IODC hversion is 35040 and PDC major number is 24.

Here is the output from parstatus:

Re: parmodify error

Logon to the MP and run

MP:CM> sysrev

to confirm the firmware version is same for each cell.

I ran sysrev from the cm and received the following:

Re: parmodify error

Check the CPU setting as well

http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-9000/rp7410-Adding-cell-to-partition-0/m-p/3086324#M15196

and the firmware requirements too ,PDC major
no looks same on each cell

Re: parmodify error

run # parstatus -V -c0 & 3 and check CPU details.

Re: parmodify error

I ran parstatus -V -c0 and -c3 and saw this difference in cpu details:

For c0 - [CPU Details]
Type : 88E0
Speed : 1100 MHz

For c3 - [CPU Details]
Type : 88D0
Speed : 1000 MHz

Is this an issue.

Re: parmodify error

Looks like you really have different CPus installed. This cannot work.

From MP run "df" (display fru) to check.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: parmodify error

If you have a HW contract ID then you may log
a call with HP , to get the exact info (-just
a suggestion) as CPUs looks different to me.

Re: parmodify error

Thanks everyone. We are calling to have the cpu's replaced so they match the cpu in the remaining 3 cells.
