1. I personally prefer DBI 1.35 :)
2. Where did you get the depot? It /might/ not be built to support Oracle.
3. I've got a pretty recent 5.8.0 port prepared to run with DBD::Oracle /including/ DBI prebuilt for 10.20 and 11.00 (11.00 also for 64bit). See if that fits your needs: http://www.cmve.net/~merijn or https://www.beepz.com/personal/merijn

Is there any chance to see your perl depot with DBI/Ora and Tk for 11i PA-RISC1.1 (we have a lot of B180)?

I'd prefer a prebuilt perl (from someone who knows exactly how to do it ;-)

Best regards

Re: perl 5.8 and DBI 1.37 and DBD-Oracle 1.14

Does it have to be pa-risc 1.1? Your opening statement asks for 11.00/64, which implies pa-risc-2.0

I'm just done with a preliminary test for

perl-5.8.1-20906 on 11.11 pa-risc-2.0 with gcc-3.3.1/64

skip 1.37! 1.38 is out now, and does do a lot better than 1.37. So either go for 1.35 or 1.38

DBD::Oracle will not be included in *any* of my ports because of the endless list of possible incompatibilities. I don't want to be responsible for your database crashes

FWIW the gcc-3.3.1 ports for 11.11 are available for two days already :)
