printing disables when send file to print

Trying to print directly from C180 using built-in parallel port. Seems to configure fine with CentIf driver then when send a file to print the queue gets disabled. Using LaserJet 4MP.

Configure your printer with SAM.

Centronics driver would seem to be the wrong one.
Get the one for the HP printer.

We use all JetDirect networked IP printers which seems to be the way to go. All users can get to the printer from PC, UNIX and other OS's.

If you have that option, take it.

SAM didn't do anything for me. I don't have JetDirect. While I do have an Intel print server, I prefer to use the built-in parallel interface. What driver should I be using?
