priter/ scanner (HP psc 1210) how do I set up the printer?

Hi I am using suse linux 10.0 and I recently setup the HP printer/ scanner: HP psc 1210 on my PC.

now I have a driver for the printer and I have a driver for the scanner but it is onlyu recognising the scanner through the USB connection.

how do I get it to recognise the printer through USB?
