I have a setup of 2 x rp5470 which is clustered with MC/Serviceguard.
HP EVA is going to upgrade the firmware and they are asking to change the PV timeout.
Anyone who got an idea on what is the best practice on the value to be set.
Furthermore, do I need to reboot the server doing the pvchange -t?
Regards,
Marvin D.

Re: pvchange -t (changing timeout)
Surely, they can suggest what the timeout needs to be set to?

Re: pvchange -t (changing timeout)
Thanks for the prompt reply. Is this applicable even the disk is shared on a clustered enviroment?
Cheers

Ans : Value to be set for best practice is 180

No need to reboot the box after doing pvchange.
