"cloned" RH 7.3 + Proliant ML370 = problem
I have Ghost image of RH7.3 system and i'm trying to restore RH7.3 to ML370.
I restore image to the first SCSI disk, boot from RH CDROM into rescue mode, fix lilo.conf, fstab; run mkinitrd in order to include aic7xxx to initrd;
and I get "unable to mount root filesystem" in boot time.
any ideas?

Re: "cloned" RH 7.3 + Proliant ML370 = problem
The problem was in mkinitrd, which doesn't include modules from /etc/modules.conf (I work in chroot'ed enviroment).
But even when I use
mkinitrd ... --with=aic7xxx ,
I get "unresolved symbols" in aic7xxx module when system is booting.

Dude, if you want to clone your Linux box, you should definately use mondo rescue. It works wonder. I've used it and I love it. Here's the url: "http://www.microwerks.net/~hugo/"
