"nfs_async_io" consuming more CPU

Hi,
Im having a VM guest of OS HPUX11.31. Im facing an issue of CPU utilisation, 68.87% of total CPU is utilised by the process nfs_async_io with PID 27. There are 10 nfs mount point on the server.

September 2010 patches are applied on the servers.

Kindly guide me on this.

Whether any option is there for reducing the utilisation of nfs_async_io process.

Which version of NFS you are using?

I have seen this issue with NFS4 during high load, so after discussing with HP i have degarded the nfs version.
