If you use rssh to chroot your sftp users, then you will face the same problem you have with HP's chroot ssh. rssh has to chroot before invoking sftp-server, so the chroot will have to contain all of the files and directories required by sftp-server.

rssh allows you to disable shell access for sftp/scp users. It runs on different platforms, which is valuable in a mixed environment. However, rssh does not remove the need to create and maintain your chroot environments.

Is true, and believe that the best option for me, is configure a ssl environment.

In fact mi principal purpose, is enforce the security for the information that cross over the network, through a ftp connection between the client to server (encrypting).
