samba conundrum
I have set up a samba server with security = DOMAIN - authentication is done by a the group PDC. But in order for a user to set-up a printer, he has to login as administrator on his own NT server - where he cannot see the printers because he is not logged in the the group PDC!
does anyone see the problem?
On two NT servers, I have succeeded in setting up printers by alternating between administrator logged in to the local NT box and the user name logged in to the group PDC. As administrator I granted the right to load and unload drivers and eventually something worked and I was able to add the printer logged in as the user to the group PDC.
How can I let users logged in as administrators on their own NT boxes see the printers on my samba server?

Re: samba conundrum
There are two samba parameters that specify the
members of the adminsistrators group.
'admin users' specifies a list of administrators. Don't
use commas between entries. Add the user and next
time they log in they should have administrator privs.
Recent versions also have an option that makes
all members of a group administrators. I think it
is 'admin group'.
