Hi,
In Features & benefits list of secure path,HP said it can increased the performance. I want to know if I use secure path and have access to VA from 2 diffrent pathes, write & read speed will be 2 times faster? I mean if write speed on to the VA be 80 MB/S, it will be 80*2=160 MB/S by secure path?

Solution
Hi,
No you won't get twice the speed.
The FC connection will be faster, but the main bottleneck is your VA and it's disks. so you will get some performance increase, but not 100% (or close to it). Main reason for using securepath is extra security: if one path fails you still have access through the other path.
...I think that's why they called it securepath an not fastpath ;-)
Hope this helps,
Marco
