sendmail locally but not beyond

hi all

i can send sendmail from my hpux system to my local env (user@nyct.com). but not beyond (gmail.com, verizon.net,etc).

i sent it with a -v and and checked mail.log and theres no errors and it gets passed to the relay without issue.

has anyone ever encountered this?

If you have confirmed your sendmail to the relay server is successful, then you need to go track what happened from the relay server on.  Have you viewed the mail logs on your server and the relay server?

i viewed the mail logs on my server, no errors everthing is sent and normal.

i dont have access to the relay server, i put a call to that group to take a look,

no word yet.....
