server Hp 9000 K380
We will receive from a sponsor a used server HP 9000 K380. Further specifations : CPU 240Mz PA-8200, memory 512 MB, ... Can this system run under Linux RedHat?

Hi,
Have a look at this page, it is debian orientated but you might find it useful:

The K380 seems supported though, so you should be in luck.

Hi there.
Yes, Debian is a chance.
I hope, you are aware of the problems with support for K380.
The internal bus to the interfaces is either
HP-PB or HSC ( HP Precision Bus or High Speed Connect ). No PCI interfaces possible.
If you need parts, i wish you goods hunting depending on what it is.
So be careful and don't damage it.
But nevertheless good luck and have fun.
Usually the K-class is very reliable.
