setting up tape drive

Hi,
I'd like to setup a tape drive C5683A on my C3750.
I'm using HP-UX hpuxsrv1 B.11.11.

ioscan -fn :
unknown -1 10/0/15/1.3.0 UNCLAIMED UNKNOWN HP C5683A

I installed HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools but it doesn't see thet tape drive.

I'm a newbie at hp-ux and i don't were to start to set that up.

Can someone please help me ?

Go into SAM, go to kernel drivers and see if the driver 'stape' is loaded. If not you'll need to load it. SAM will rebuild the kernel and reboot the system. At that point the tape drive should show up in ioscan.
