system beeps

every time i boot up the system, there's a beep sound (1 short and 2 long ones). What should i do?

Hi,
You have a display adapter problem. I would recommend re-seating your video card first (assuming you have a slot card as opposed to onboard video). If you have onboard video, time to find yourself a video card. Check for open slots inside your system so you know what you're looking for.
