tn3270 doesn't show the "+" sign

Hi

i have a TN3270 Emulatore
on an hpux-11.

one of the fileds i have ( a numric field) when i try to write a "+" sign it doesn't show, although the "-" and "=" signs show.

what do you think is the problem ?

Could be the application program. Many programs do not show a leading plus sign since all numbers are assumed to be positive unless otherwise noted. Can you write a "+" in a text field? If you can then it's definitely not the emulator.

If you can't then the keyboard mapping may be at fault. Many emulators will let you remap keys to do other things.

Finally if you are using a non US standard keyboard did you tell HP-UX about it during setup?
