Re: uninstall the Oracle database version 8.0.5 from HPUNIX
This very old database can be uninstalled two ways.
1) There is a script that should be in the database binaries mount point for uninstall.
2) rm -rf the binaries and the start scripts in /sbin/init.d along with the /etc/oratab file.

Re: uninstall the Oracle database version 8.0.5 from HPUNIX
Hi
you did not say if you want to keep config files you might use for a later version or if you want to wipe out completely Oracle 8.0.5 (incl. config).
Some of the config files can be in /etc and other components can be found under /var
