upgrading SUSE Linux SLES 10 from 32-bit to the 64-bit

My question is upgrading SUSE Linux SLES 10 from 32-bit to the 64-bit version possible or a fresh install is required??

Please guide me to an upgrade document if available.

I chekced the HW & it was in the supported HW matrix.

Shalom,

With most flavors of Linux a fresh install is required.
