/var/tombstones

hi,everyone!!

I have a problem on hpux11.0 that don't create any files /var/tombstones/* ,after reboot or shutdown
(like this ts99,ts98..)

who anyone know soulution about above the problem also,
I don't know what can I configure file??

tell me~~

These files contain the contents of the PIM area (non-volatile RAM). The
tombstone files provide diagnostic information if the system encounters
a hardware failure.

You can toggle 'pdcinfo' off and on in the '/etc/rc.config.d/pdcinfo'
file. This file contains one line that you can set to either 0 or 1.

PDCINFO=1

You have to have diagnostics running to enable the PIM dump to the ts* files in /var/tombstones. First of all check if the "PDCINFO" line is set to 1 or not in /etc/rc.config.d/pdcinfo. Set it to 1 to enable it.
