How mature is your hybrid cloud management?

IDC has identified five stages of maturity for hybrid cloud management in the enterprise. The journey starts with an unruly and risky period of experimentation, and culminates in IT as a Service, where end users are able to take what they need through self-service brokers and portals.

Between the risky ad hoc stage and the fully mature stage of optimization are phases when teams learn how to work better together, protocols are put in place, and data yields valuable insights.

Read this opinion paper from IDC and see where your enterprise is on the hybrid cloud management maturity scale. IT pros will receive practical guidance on how best to reduce risk, evaluate policies and standards, perfect IT governance, and craft a roadmap with ITaaS as the final destination.
