Introducing the 2016 U.S. Service Provider Awards for Customer Excellence Winners

Guest Post By: Derek Howard, WW IoT and Service Provider Marketing Manager

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced the winners of the 2016 Service Providers Awards for Customer Excellence – a U.S. program that recognizes top-performing HPE partners and their successes in helping companies address common pain points through a new style of IT. Winning pairs (these awards acknowledge both the service provider and the company they serve) are celebrated for their innovative approaches to solving pressing information technology (IT) issues such as security and managing increasingly complex IT infrastructures.

If you’re exploring migrating to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS), you’re probably looking for proven service provider partners. We’re happy to call these impressive partners part of the HPE service provider family.

You’ll be able to engage with many of our outstanding service providers at the HPE Global Partner Conference (Boston, Sept. 12-14) and at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo (Orlando, Oct. 16-20).

Category: Transform to a Hybrid Infrastructure

Winner: Zayo Group (service provider); Canoe Ventures (organization)

An advertising-technology company founded by cable providers scales intelligently for massive demand without waiting for infrastructure deployment using Zayo Group’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Runner-up: TriCore Solutions (Service Provider); Cole-Parmer (Organization)

A scientific-instrument manufacturer separates a complex IT infrastructure from its parent company, without adding staff or investing additional capital. In the process, Cole-Parmer acquires the latest technologies and increases the company’s agility—all made possible by TriCore’s IaaS solution.

Category: Enabling workplace productivity

Winner: Symmetry (Service Provider); Karma Automotive (Organization)

An ultra-luxury electric-car manufacturer moves to Symmetry’s cloud-based S/4HANA solution to drive process efficiency, end-user satisfaction, and greater reliability to foster business transformation—while addressing security definitions and processes. Symmetry provides Karma with the ability to break a 1 TB virtualization memory limit as needed, with the capacity to scale up to 12 TB.

Runner-up: TierPoint (Service Provider); SteelFab (Organization)

A leading U.S.-based fabricator of structural steel moves to TierPoint’s Backup as a Service (BUaaS) solution and implements a more reliable, efficient, and faster backup infrastructure capable of multi-site replication for its core business functions.

Category: Empower a data-driven organization

Winner: NTT Communications (Service Provider); Honda (Organization)

With NTT’s hybrid cloud infrastructure, Honda effortlessly manages secure data transfers across regions and suppliers for up to 30,000 parts required for each car. Honda also achieved a globally standardized supplier network system, along with faster product development, procurement, and production.
