Put your Cloud into hyperdrive with hyper-convergence

Guest Post: John Cummings, EG Marketing, HPE

With all the Star Wars promo going on pretty much everywhere you look this holiday season, I couldn’t resist a science-fictiony title for this post. But you may be wondering … what’s hyper-convergence got to do with Cloud?

Quite a lot, it turns out. As you may know, Hyper-converged solutions offer tightly integrated compute, storage, networking, and management capabilities in a highly compact appliance. You can stand up a complete hyper-converged infrastructure in as little as 15 minutes. And that opens up all kinds of new possibilities for your cloud strategy. For example, if you’ve had some success with virtualization and you’re ready to push beyond that, a hyper-converged solution can give you a relatively low-cost entry point to the cloud and a straightforward way to explore the potential benefits.
