Watch HP Helion’s CTO discuss the future of hybrid cloud

According to IDC Research, 75 percent of enterprise IT will soon be a mix of public, private, and managed clouds—in other words, a hybrid architecture. It’s no mystery why enterprise IT has adopted the model: Hybrid clouds enable flexibility without compromising control. The pace of application development increases even as costs drop.

Of course, not all hybrid clouds will look the same. The proportions of public, private, and managed clouds will depend on the particular needs of specific industries and businesses. The hybrid clouds of the financial industry, for example, will look very different from those scaled by telecoms.

Watch this short clip and hear Mark Potts, CTO for HP Helion, share his point of view on how hybrid cloud solutions will differ across enterprises.
