Has anyone seen this error before?
firmware version 43.50
The boot error messages are:
Failed to initialize
entry_init
status = -4
led state boot failed
running non os-code.
Trying to load 11.i

Solution
Hi,
This error is usually occures if there is a problem with boot disk or system hardware causing system bootup failure.
ENTRY_INIT STATUS = -4 described as
Unrecoverable Hardware Error.
An unrecoverable hardware error has occurred between the processor PDC and IODC on the target controller or device
ENTRY_INIT -4 Causes: - the disk is experiencing hardware faults and needs replacing. - the path to the disk is experiencing problems. e.g.. Termination, cabling, SCSI adapter, SCSI adapter seating
Refer the following document to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

Has the system been working? Did anything change? Is there a newer firmware version that is needed for something you have added or changed?
Is it 11i v1 or v2 (11.11 or 11.23PI)?
I would expect your A500 to have a 64-bit processor, so with proper firmware it should be able to run either version of 11i.
