Clock Rate on RP2470
I have an rp2470 Server. every time i must adjust the Date/Time of this server and after days the Date/Time will be onlate. HPUX11.00.
There are a battery on the system board of this server? What is the P/N of this batterie? can we change it? how can I solve this probleme without using the NTP service? Any idea please?

You can't. Computers don't come with atomic clocks so they can be inaccurate. I.e. it is the clock crystal and perhaps not the battery.

this mean there is no battery into this server to maintain the date/time of HP-UX? How can be proceed to arrange this issue?

You really can't. To insure accurate time keeping NTP is your best bet.

Do you know what s the P/N of the battery on the system board? We must ordered from HP or we can buy it Locally as the battery of PCs?
