Conection for modem
Hello
I have a server rp7405 with conection for modem. This conection acces to GSP. but i need tranfer file for ftp, how to configure modem o hpux for conection tcp/ip (ftp) o export de consol graphic a la conection for modem. ???
Exists this option

log into your MP>
ok, lets take a step back. when you are at the console login.
use ctrl-b
this will put you at the MP prompt
now type cm.
his command allows modification of the asychronous parameters.
WARNING: Changing the asynchronous parameters requires reboot of the MP
for proper local operation.
Do you want to modify the local rs232 port parameters? (Y/[N]) y
Current Asynchronous Baud Rate is: 9600 bits/s
Do you want to modify it? (Y/[N])
Current Flow Control is: Software
Do you want to modify it? (Y/[N])
Do you want to modify the modem parameters? (Y/[N])

I re read your question. And if I understood it correctly, you want to ftp files over this modem port.
NO, you can't do that. sorry.
The modem port only allows you to hook up a modem to the port so that you can dial into the modem to get access to the console.
Same applies for the LAN port. the LAN port on the GSP only allows you to hook up the console to the LAN, so that you can access the console via telnet or web.
You can not use any of these ports for files transfers etc.
